Jeff Takes to Streets With Style

So I just want to let everyone know that as of today I am proud owner of a Manhattan Portage 1428 brown DJ bag. All the cool kids are doing it, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon. I'm sure you'll see candid photographs of me and 1428 around the City, so just wanted everyone to be prepared.

Subsequently, effective at midnight on May 17, 2007, the L.L. Bean blue, monogrammed backpack went into retirement. It will be used for various tasks, but will no longer be adorned as a daily accessory. Bean would like to thank everyone for the tremendous support he has received over the past nine years.

Mandarin Guests Are So Special

So as most of you know, I'm a GSA at the Mandarin Oriental New York. The prices for the rooms are outrageous. They range from $1,000 to $14,000 per night and the guests couldn't get any weirder. But today I had a couple memorable interactions that I thought would be funny to share. One guest comes in around 10pm and I asked her how her flight was into NYC and she said, "Oh, United just isn't what it used to be." I replied by telling her that the only reason I prefer United is because you can listen to the Air Traffic Control on Channel 9. Upon this, she called me a nerd!! Then secondly, a guest came up to me and asked me if many people told me that I look like Frazier's brother Niles. I insisted that no one did although several have. SHe told me however that I was much cuter that Niles and she asked me if I was an actor....

Wow, now that I've written this both of these stories were really boring. Oh well, I'm going to bed. I'm really just excited about blogging because I've linked this blog to Facebook, so now many more people will be forced to read my mindless ramblings.
